Privacy Policy

Hour Time · Effective 20 July 2026

In short: Hour Time stores your data in your own private iCloud account. The developer does not operate any servers, does not have access to your data, and does not collect, sell, or share it. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking SDKs.

This policy explains how the Hour Time app ("Hour Time", "the app") handles information. Hour Time is a personal field-visit and outreach tracking tool. It is published by Victor Pacheco ("we", "us", "I").

1. Information the app stores

You create records inside the app. Depending on how you use it, these records may include:

Where this data lives: All of the above is stored on your device and in your personal, private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit), which syncs it across your own Apple devices. It is not sent to the developer or to any third-party server that we operate. We cannot see it.

2. Information the developer collects

None. Hour Time has no user accounts, no login, and no developer-operated backend. We do not collect, receive, store, or have access to your app data, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking tools.

3. Third-party services

Hour Time relies only on Apple's own services, which are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy:

We do not integrate any non-Apple SDKs, and we do not share your data with anyone.

4. Location

If you use the map, Hour Time requests permission to access your device location while you are using the app ("When In Use"). This is used only to center the map and show people near you. Your live location is not stored in your records and is not transmitted to the developer. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in the iOS Settings app; the rest of the app continues to work without it.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Hour Time schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent through, or visible to, the developer.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives in your own device storage and iCloud account, you are in control of it:

We do not hold copies of your data, so there is nothing for the developer to retain or delete on your behalf.

7. Children's privacy

Hour Time is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no data on the developer's side, no such information is transmitted to or held by us.

8. Security

Your data is protected by the security of your device and your Apple account, including any device passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and Apple's iCloud protections. We recommend keeping your device and Apple account secured. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but because the developer holds none of your data, there is no central store for us to be breached.

9. Your rights

You can access, correct, export (via notes/records you control), and delete your information directly in the app and through your iCloud account, as described in Section 6. If you have questions about your information, contact us using the details below.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version published at this address.
